Compact Kitchen Company – Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Period

The minimum rental period is three (3) weeks. Rental begins on the delivery date and ends on the scheduled pickup date. Extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to availability.

2. Payment Terms

Full payment for the minimum rental period is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Additional rental time will be billed weekly.

All payments are non-refundable within 72 hours of the scheduled delivery date.

3. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required prior to delivery. The deposit will be returned after inspection of the unit upon pickup, provided no damage, missing components, or excessive cleaning is required.

4. Use of Equipment

The Compact Kitchen unit is intended for light residential cooking and dishwashing only during kitchen renovations.

The renter agrees:

To operate the unit safely and according to provided instructions
Not to modify or alter the unit
Not to connect the unit to any plumbing system
To plug the unit into a properly functioning GFCI electrical outlet

5. Water Tanks

The renter is responsible for:

Filling the fresh water tank
Emptying the grey water tank as needed

Compact Kitchen Company is not responsible for overfilling or improper handling of water tanks.

6. Electrical Requirements

The unit requires one standard 120V outlet. The renter is responsible for ensuring the outlet is functional and safe for use.

Compact Kitchen Company is not responsible for electrical issues within the home.

7. Damage or Loss

The renter assumes responsibility for the equipment while it is in their possession.

Charges may apply for:

Damage to the unit
Missing components
Excessive cleaning
Water damage caused by misuse
Negligent operation

Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit or billed to the renter.

8. Delivery & Pickup

Delivery and pickup times are scheduled in advance. The renter must provide clear and safe access to the property.

If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, additional charges may apply.

9. Cleaning

The unit must be returned in reasonable clean condition. A cleaning fee may be charged if excessive cleaning is required.

10. Limitation of Liability

Compact Kitchen Company shall not be liable for:

Injury caused by misuse of equipment
Damage resulting from improper operation
Electrical issues within the property
Water damage caused by improper tank handling

11. Acceptance of Terms

By completing the rental checkout process, the renter acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
